We are eternally grateful to our relatives, neighbours and friends who helped out in countless ways during our difficult days, bringing food to the house and making sure we had everything we needed. We would especially like to thank the wonderful doctors and nurses in the I.C.U. Portiuncula Hospital for their exceptional care to Michael during his final days. We also extend heartfelt thanks to the staff of Ballinasloe Credit Union for the Guard of Honour and the business people of the town who stood outside their premises as Michael made his final journey.
