Seán O'Flaherty Death Notices
The death has occurred of Seán O'Flaherty, Fermoyle West, Barna, Galway.
On Friday, 15 August 2025, peacefully, in the comfort of his own home, Seán completed his life's journey with his family by his side.
Pre-deceased by his parents Máire and Michael, sisters Kathleen, Mary and Peggy, brothers Peadar and Diarmuid and his grandson Connla, niece Siobhán and nephew Michael.
He will be dearly missed by his loving wife Kay (Dolan) and his adoring children Seán Óg, Grainne (McDonagh), Enda, Aongus and Fiona (Kilcoyne), his adored granchildren Diarmuid, Luísea, Róise, Sadhbh, Éamonn, Fionn, Sorcha, Iarlaith, Éanna, Darach, Lúc, Shea and May, sons and daughters-in-law, sisters Ann, Bríd and Nora, nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, cousins, neighbours and friends.
Funeral Arrangements
Monday, 18 August 2025 : Seán will lie in repose at the Cillín within the Church of Mary Immaculate Queen, Barna from 5 pm. - 6:30 pm.
Tuesday, 19 August 2025 : Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Seán in Barna at 12 noon. Following Mass, he will be laid to rest in Réalt Na Mara Cemetery, Furbo.
Family Flowers Only.
