SEAN O'TOOLE Death Notices

O'TOOLE, Sean, Furbo, Co. Galway (formerly of Knock, Inverin) 21st February 2014 Sean's wife Breda, sons Mark, Lorcan and Donal, daughters-in-law, Mary and Caroline, grandchildren Emily and Sean, nephews Máirtín and Marcus and niece Máirín (Conneely) wish to express our sincere thanks and deepest gratitude to all who sympathised with us on our recent bereavement. A special word of thanks to everyone who attended the funeral Mass and burial, and to relatives, former work colleagues, neighbours, and friends who travelled from all over Ireland and England to be with us, everyone who sent Mass cards, flowers, telephoned, called to our home or sent messages of sympathy. We would like to sincerely thank Fr Des Forde PP for giving a beautiful homily, Dean Tomás O'Cadhain, and Fr. Dan O'Donovan (Ballinasloe) for concelebrating the funeral Mass. Thanks also to our musician Padraig Keane and singer Máire Uí Dhroighneáin, and all who contributed to make Sean's Mass so meaningful and special. We are also very grateful to the staff of the Cillín in Barna for organising Sean's reposal, and the kindness you showed to us at this time. To the grave diggers who dug Sean's grave, we thank you sincerely. Also to the undertaker, Padraig Ridge, for your support and professionalism, and to the Connemara Coast Hotel for the lovely food and services provided after the funeral. We would like to acknowledge the great care and support Sean received over the years from Dr. John O'Sullivan and his medical team in Galway, as well as the doctors and staff of UCHG who looked after him in his final days. To former colleagues and members of the Gardaí in Salthill, Spiddal and Carraroe, thank you for your kind support throughout the funeral and also for traffic management. It is impossible to thank everyone individually, so please accept this as a token of our sincere gratitude and appreciation. The Month's Mind Mass. For Sean will be on Saturday, 29th March at 10.30 am in Realt na Mara Church, Furbo. Dia grásta ar a anam naofa.
