RABBITT, Sean - Cartymore, Turloughmore/ Athenry, passed away on 12th August 2025 The family of Sean Rabbitt of Cartymore, Turloughmore/Athenry wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their great loss. We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many friends, neighbours and well-wishers who visited our home, attended the wake, service and burial and who provided emotional and practical support to us at this difficult time. For those who telephoned, travelled long distances, sent floral tributes, cards and messages of condolences, we are truly grateful. We are especially grateful to the staff at Mystical Rose Nursing Home for the kindness and care they gave Sean during his time there. Our heartfelt thanks to Fr. O'Gorman for his compassionate support and guidance, and for celebrating such a beautiful Funeral Mass. Sincere appreciation is also extended to Fr. Billy Collins for his kind words and for performing the Rite of Committal at the graveside. To Kearney Funeral Directors for their sensitive and professional handling of arrangements, to Amy and Mary who provided the beautiful music for Sean's funeral Mass and to Joe Glynn for his touching rendition of Sean's favourite song at the graveside. Our thanks to the Turloughmore Hurling Team who provided a Guard of Honour outside the funeral home. To the Grave Diggers who prepared Seans final resting place, thank you. Thank you to the team in the Raheen Woods hotel for a lovely meal. To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Month's Mind Mass for Sean Will be held on Friday 12th September at 7.30pm in Lackagh Church (H65N129). All Welcome
