Jacqueline KILBRIDE BERNARD

KILBRIDE BERNARD, Jacqueline Passed away following a short but brave struggle with cancer. Her wishes were to remain at home for as long as possible, and to attend her granddaughter Keely's August 28th wedding. Sadly she was unable to attend the wedding due to weakened health, but bravely held on until after, and on August 30th went into the arms of the Lord. With the dedicated care of her sister Alice, Jackie was able to remain at home until the very end. For this the family is very grateful to Auntie Alice...our angel on earth. Jackie was the loving wife of Marcel Bernard, devoted mother to Kathleen Owens (Robert), Paul Bernard, Lucille Doyle (Alex Thomas Jr.), Daniel Bernard and Marcella Metcalfe (Kirk). Cherished mere of Keely, Mike, Korah, Katrina, Patrick, and Shawna-Leigh. Family and friends may call at Tubman Funeral Home Garden Chapel on Sunday, September 5th from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. Christian Mass and burial on September 6th at 10:30 am at St. Mary's Church, Quyon, Quebec. Jackie dedicated countless years of continual care to her invalid spouse and handicapped son. Donations to any Respite Care charity would be appreciated.
