Tony Monaghan Death Notices

MONAGHAN, Tony, 8 Ballyhugh, Gort, Co. Galway. On behalf of Tony's mother Mary, his brothers Michael and Sean, his sisters Mary, Patty, Geraldine, Pauline and Lisa, his Aunt Margaret we would like to extend our gratitude to all those who sympathised and supported us during our loss of Tony. A sincere thanks to all those who called to the house and provided food refreshments phone calls sent text messages and condolences on RIP. Thank you to those tho attended Tony's removal, Requiem Mass and burial in Kilmacduagh Cemetery. We thank the Gort GAA and Bros Pierces Club from London who came together to do a Guard of Honour on both days. We thank the Dalton Family/Corrib Oil and Sullivans Hotel for providing refreshments and to our wonderful neighbours and friends who were there for us when we needed them. A special word of thanks to Canon Tommy Marrinan, Fr. Pat Madden, Fr. Joe Roche and Fr. Michael Brennan for concelebrating Tony's Mass and to the beautiful choir. Thank you to Dr Richard Joyce and his team for taking such good care of Tony since he came home from London, also Orla and her team at the health centre. Thank you to the Consultants, Doctors and Nurses of St. Dominic's Ward UCHG for the wonderful care you gave Tony while he was there. We will be forever grateful to the gravediggers who helped prepare Tony's final resting place. Thank you to the undertakers John and Melissa Monahan for their professionalism and care during our time of need. As it would be impossible to thank everybody individually, please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our appreciation. Tony's Month's Mind Mass Will be held in St. Colman's Church, Gort on Saturday Night 6th of December at 6.30pm
