Ainslea Kate Wolfe, 39, passed away on January 10, 2026, in Houston, Texas. Born on December 24, 1986, in Humble, Texas, Ainslea brought light and laughter into the world from her very first breath.
Ainslea was a vibrant soul whose presence left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her. She was known for her infectious laugh that could brighten any room and eyes so expressive they seemed to see straight into your soul. Her warmth and generosity were matched only by her wit and sense of adventure—qualities that made her not only fun and funny but also a master at coaxing others out of their shells.
She had a deep love for her fur babies—Margot and Murray—who were constant companions and cherished members of her family. Her beloved Belle preceded her in passing but remained close to her heart always.
Ainslea found joy in life’s little puzzles—crossword grids, jigsaw pieces, board games and delighted in solving them with the same curiosity she brought to exploring the world around her. She was especially fond of urban adventures and took great pleasure in uncovering the hidden histories of Houston. Her passion for discovery extended to music as well; she was an avid fan of Electric Light Orchestra, whose melodies often served as the soundtrack to her many escapades.
She is lovingly remembered by her mother Susan Wolfe; brother Jon-Foxx Wolfe; uncle Greg Wolfe and his wife Dana Persels; aunt Ann House; and a host of cousins and dear friends who will forever cherish the memories they shared with her. She joins in rest her father John Hopkins; maternal grandparents John and Kay Wolfe; paternal grandparents Kathryn Hopkins and John L. Hopkins; uncle Barron Smith; aunt Audrey Hendrix; and dear companion Belle.
Ainslea’s brilliance shone brightly in every aspect of her life. She was deeply loved by family and friends alike—her influence reaching further than she ever realized. Her spirit lives on in the laughter she inspired, the kindness she showed so freely, and the countless lives she touched along the way.
May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
