Alan L. Chapa

Alan L. Chapa 82, passed away on December 22, 2025. He was born in Rios, Texas to Daniel Chapa and Lorenza Lopez on June 18, 1943. Mr. Chapa served as a Sargeant in the United States Marine Corp. during the Vietnam War. He worked for CPL / AEP for 35 years then retired and worked as a bus driver for Premont ISD and Kingsville ISD
He is survived by his wife Jovita C. Chapa of Kingsville, Tx. two sons Alan Chapa Jr. of Katy, Texas and Isaac (Joyce) Chapa of Austin, Texas, two grandchildren Samantha Chapa and Jude Chapa, one brother Luvin (Alicia) Chapa of New Braunfets, Texas two sisters Olga Pschichholtz of Corpus Christi and Nelda Saenz of Arlington, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother Daniel Chapa Jr. and a sister Angelica Contreras.
A Holy Rosary will be held on Sunday December 28, 2025, at The Alaniz Funeral Home in Falfurrias, TX at 7:00 PM.
Funeral Mass will be held Monday December 29, 2025, at Saint Theresa Catholic Church in Premont, TX at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at the Premont Cemetery will full Military Honors.
Pallbearers will be Marcus Saenz, Luvin Chapa Jr., Johnny Contreras Jr., Albert Villarreal, Ray Steven Gonzalez and Marty Martinez.
