Alba N. Preisch

Alba N. Preisch, age 69, passed away on October 21, 2025, in Tucson, Arizona, the city where she was born on July 10, 1956. Alba was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose love and presence touched everyone who knew her. Alba is now reunited with the love of her life, her husband Dave Preisch, who preceded her in death. Their bond was one of deep love and devotion, and her family takes comfort in knowing they are together again.

Born and raised in Tucson to Antonio and Hortensia Navarrette, Alba graduated from Pueblo High School in 1974. She had an incredible singing voice and shared her talent as a singer with Los Payadores De Pueblo. Alba later worked for the City of Tucson, where she met Dave, beginning a lifelong love story.

She was a proud and loving mother to her four children: Rebecca Navarette, Erica Gutierrez, Chelsea Preisch, and David "DJ" Preisch Jr. Alba was also a devoted grandmother to Auggie, Victoria, Soli, Mayela, Adam, Liam, Luke, Javvi, Ava, and Louisa, each of whom brought her immense joy. Alba is also survived by her sisters, Armida and Imelda Navarrette and Cheryl (Richard) Epps, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

She cherished time spent with her family, especially family vacations, and enjoyed many happy moments playing bingo with her friends. Alba will be remembered for her warm heart, her laughter, her love of music, and her unwavering dedication to her family.

A Tribute and Memorial Service will be held on February 21, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Calvary Christian Fellowship of Tucson, located at 3850 N. Commerce Dr., Tucson, AZ 85705.

Alba's memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
