Alban Miller jr

Alban Danial "Tute" Miller Jr., 67, of Westfield, Massachusetts, passed away on October 31, 2025, after a courageous battle with glioblastoma. He departed this life peacefully, surrounded by love and faith.

Born on September 25, 1958, in Springfield, Massachusetts, Alban—affectionately known as Al or Tute—spent his life rooted in the Pioneer Valley. He was a man of quiet strength and generosity, remembered for his willingness to lend a hand to anyone in need—whether it was offering a ride, helping someone move, or sharing what he had.

Al dedicated the majority of his working years to PTI Industries, where he contributed to the aerospace field through roles in inspection, surface bonding, and shipping and receiving. His work supported the production of parts used in jets and helicopters—a legacy of precision and reliability that reflected his own character.

Outside of work, Al found joy in simple pleasures and meaningful connections. He shared a deep bond with his brother Ron through their mutual love of classic cars. Together they spent countless hours restoring a 1937 Chevy pickup and attending car shows. Al also cherished time spent fishing with friends—a pastime that brought him peace and camaraderie.

Faith became an important part of Al's journey later in life. With the guidance of his sister-in-law Marge Miller, he accepted the Lord into his heart. This spiritual awakening provided him comfort during his illness and strength throughout his treatments.

Al faced his diagnosis with bravery and resilience. Despite undergoing radiation therapy, chemotherapy, infusion treatments, and numerous MRIs, he remained steadfast in spirit until the Lord called him home shortly after his retirement.

He is lovingly remembered by his brother Ron Miller (Sue), sister Lillian Harnden (Mike), and sister Joan Lamb. He was predeceased by his brother Robert Miller Sr. and sister Linda Miller. He will also be missed by his Nieces, Nephews and cousins and of course friends and coworkers.

A memorial service celebrating Al's life will be held in Agawam Massachusetts.
