Albert Massie, 69, passed away on January 30, 2026, in Savannah, Georgia. A lifelong resident of Savannah, Albert was born there on November 8, 1956.
Albert graduated from Thompkins High School in 1975 and went on to serve in the Army Reserves. He built a respected career with Massie Construction Co., where he was known for his skill and dedication as a master carpenter. His craftsmanship left a lasting mark on the community through the many projects he helped bring to life.
Albert was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Deborah Jean Lutz Massie. He is remembered with love by his father Robert Tyson and mother Bonnie Tyson; his brother James Tyson(Sherri); his sister Tina Smith(Ed); as well as his stepchildren and step-grandchildren.
Albert's legacy lives on through the structures he built and the lives he touched. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
A Memorial Service will be held on February 7, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Keys of the Kingdom Christian Fellowship Church 17 Quacco Rd. Savannah, GA 31419
