Alex Christopher Steffensen passed away on October 6, 2025, in Conyers, Georgia. Alex was born on May 12, 1987, in La Mesa, California.
A 2005 graduate of Milton High School in Milton, Georgia, Alex went on to serve his country as a member of the United States Army.
Alex was known for his love of cars and animals. Whether he was modifying a vehicle or spending time with beloved pets, he found joy in the things that moved and comforted him.
He is lovingly remembered by his parents, Mark and Gina (née Rottman) Steffensen of Ball Ground, Georgia; his sister Emily Ginn (Shoal) of Cumming, Georgia; his brother Peter Steffensen of Las Vegas, Nevada; and his sister Madeline Steffensen of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was the cherished grandson of Carole Steffensen of Canton, Georgia, and Thomas Rottman of Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Alex was also a beloved uncle, nephew and cousin to many.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather Harold Steffensen and grandmother Antoinette Rottman.
In keeping with the family's wishes, arrangements are private. In honor of Alex's memory and service, donations to the Wounded Warrior Project are appreciated.
