Alexandra Budna Golaski

Alexandra Budna Golaski passed away peacefully on January 29, 2026 at home in Philadelphia, PA.

She was born on Dec 16, 1935 in Philadelphia.

She attended Nazareth Academy and Chestnut Hill College, earning a degree in Psychology. She then worked in New York, including as Director of Personnel at McDonnell and Company, a Wall Street brokerage house.

She served as Vice President of Golaski Laboratories, Inc. and Bearing Products Corp. of Philadelphia.

She was active in the Episcopal Academy Parents Association, including serving as president. She helped edit a school cookbook, and she was a tireless supporter of the rowing team.

She was also on the board of the Balch Institute for Ethnic Studies.

She married Walter Michael Golaski in 1969.

She is survived by daughter Alexandra Gołaszewska Kelly of Philadelphia (and husband John), son John Paul Golaski of Los Angeles, CA (and wife Christine Sheller), son Edmund Walter Golaski of Cambridge, MA, stepdaughter Michelle Wilmoth of Cambridge Springs, PA (and husband Bob), and step-grandchildren Michael Wilmoth and Jessica Wilmoth Slayton.

She was pre-deceased by husband Walter Michael Golaski, daughter Laura Teresa Golaski, brother Julian Budny (who is survived by his widow, Patricia), and parents John Budny and Helena Lewandoska Budny.
