Alfonso Palillo, 87, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2026, in Toms River, New Jersey. Born on September 29, 1938, in Brooklyn, New York. He was raised in Valley Stream where he lived for many years before moving to the Jersey Shore.
For 30 years, Alfonso worked with Teamsters Local 807, exemplifying hard work and commitment throughout his career. His strong will and determination were hallmarks of his character, traits that carried him through life's challenges and inspired those around him.
He had a passion for gardening, nurturing plants with care and patience. Known as an "animal whisperer," he shared a special bond with animals. He would also be glad to share his many "stories" with the fellas at any social gathering.
