Alfredo Sansoni passed away on October 11, 2022, in San Marcos, California. Born on April 22, 1933, in Brooklyn, New York, Alfredo's journey took him from shining shoes at Union Station in Los Angeles to serving in the Air Force, and eventually becoming a successful business owner and landlord.
Alfredo served honorably in the Air Force from 1951 to 1955, a period during which he met his future wife, Betty, while stationed in Arizona. His military tenure was marked by a dedication that would define his various professional pursuits.
Post-military, Alfredo's career was as diverse as it was successful. He worked at the Los Angeles Times Library before purchasing an appliance repair shop where he and Betty worked together to build a successful business. After selling the business he joined the carpenter's union, where he contributed to significant projects including the 1984 Olympic sites in Los Angeles and Busch Gardens in the San Fernando Valley.
Alfredo was devoted to his family, friends, and community, known for his infectious laugh and ambitious spirit. He was a loving husband to Betty and a proud father to his son, Alfred (Vinnie), and daughter and son in-law, Liisa and Lou Kessing. He was preceded in death by his sister, Lucy.
In his leisure, Alfredo enjoyed bowling, golf, and traveling. He cherished the simple pleasures of going to the movies and dining with friends.
Alfredo Sansoni's life was marked by his hardworking nature, devotion to his loved ones, and a legacy of love for life and kindness that will be remembered by all who knew him.
