Alice Marie (Brown) Conelley of Perryopolis, PA, passed away quietly surrounded by her four daughters on April 23, 2026, at the age of 96. Born on February 10, 1930, Alice was known for her gentle, fun-loving, and caring nature.
Throughout her life, Alice dedicated herself to her role as a loving mother and homemaker, creating a warm and welcoming home for her family and all who visited. She found joy in simple pleasures, such as playing bingo, baking her renowned pastries, and traveling to new and familiar places.
Alice leaves behind a loving family, including her daughters Doreen L. (Conelley) Butcher and husband Darrell of Springfield, MA; Heather M. (Conelley) Axton of Springfield, MA; Shannon K. Conelley of Perryopolis, PA; and Erin B. (Conelley) Grant and husband Adam of Chicopee, MA. She was a cherished grandmother to Kelly M. (Pray) Authier and husband Jason; Kendall A. (Pray) Moore and husband Brendan; Harry E. Pray, IV; Ryan E. Pray and wife Marcia; Joshua D. Axton and wife Andelora; Nicholas G. Axton; Michael D. Axton; and Tremayne D. Lloyd. Alice also adored her great-grandchildren Sullivan and Griffin Moore, Claire Authier, Audrey Pray, Naomi and Brooke Pray, Paisley Axton, and Brendan Axton. She is also survived by her brother, Jim Brown, and a host of extended family members and friends.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Edith Brown; her loving husband, Alfred G. Conelley, V; and her nine siblings.
A memorial service to celebrate Alice's life will be held at a later date. Those wishing to honor Alice's memory are encouraged to cherish their loved ones and create joy in their lives, as she so often did.
