Alice Collins

Mrs. Alice Lee Collins (née King), age 90, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2025, in Spokane, Washington.

Born on July 31, 1935, in Bellingham, Washington, Alice spent her early years in the Pacific Northwest, where she would go on to build a life rooted in family, faith, and hard work. She dedicated the majority of her professional life to the field of electronics and retired from Data I/O in 1999 after many years of service.

Alice was a devout Christian who found great joy and strength in her faith. Attending church every Sunday was an important part of her life and a reflection of her deep spiritual commitment.

In her younger years, Alice delighted in simple pleasures—taking walks, shopping excursions, and dining out with friends. She also had a love for adventure and the outdoors, enjoying travel, camping trips, and square dancing.

Alice was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is lovingly remembered by her son Bob Collins and his wife Nancy; her daughter Rebecca Childers and her husband Joel; as well as ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Danial Collins; first husband Robert Stinde; and second husband James Collins.
