Alicia Habib passed away peacefully on October 18, 2025 after a long illness with family by her side. She was born on March 16, 1976 in Plattsburgh, NY. She was a beloved mother, daughter, sister and aunt. She is survived by her son Tyler Habib, mother Nancy Habib, brother Michael Habib, sister Christine (Andrew) Knoch, nephew Michael Knoch, nieces Vanessa Knoch and Ashley (Dan) Brown and their children Liam and Laurel Brown. She is also survived by her fur babies Angel and Bella.
Alicia graduated from Riverview High School, Sarasota, FL in 1994 and the University of South Florida in 1998 with a degree in criminology. For several years she was employed by the Manatee Sheriff's Department as a Child Protection Officer and was awarded employee of the year in 2018. At the time of her death she was employed by the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice as a Juvenile Probation Officer.
There are no services planned. Donations can be made to the Cat Depot in Sarasota, Florida.
