Alicia “Ali” Elsa Montiel Mosca
March 13, 1946 – April 6, 2026

With heavy hearts and profound love, we announce the passing of our mother, Alicia “Ali” Mosca, who departed this world on April 6, 2026. She passed away peacefully at home, exactly as she wished, surrounded by the warmth of her husband and her three sons.

A Life Rooted in Love

Born on March 13, 1946, in the vibrant city of Buenos Aires, Argentina, Ali was the cherished daughter of the late Alicia Elsa Gallo and Otoniel Montiel. Her journey from Argentina to the life she built here was defined by her resilience, her heritage, and an unwavering devotion to those she held dear. She is now peacefully reunited with her four siblings who preceded her in death, a reunion we know brings her great joy.

A Legacy of Partnership

Ali’s greatest love story began over five decades ago. She was the loving partner, wife, and best friend of Norberto Raul Mosca (“Norby”). Together, they built a life defined by loyalty and laughter. Just weeks ago, on February 12, 2026, they celebrated their 54th Wedding Anniversary—a testament to a bond that served as an anchor for our entire family.

The Best Team in the Kitchen

The kitchen was the heart of Ali and Norby’s home, where they truly showed what it meant to be a team. Side-by-side, they were the masters of Argentine classics, working in perfect harmony to make the best empanadas and milanesa any of us have ever tasted. These meals were their gift to us—a labor of love that brought us all together around the table.

Our Mother and Nana

To us, she was a devoted and selfless mother. She poured her heart into raising her three sons—Jesse, Jonathan, and Christopher—teaching us the importance of family, kindness, and strength.
But perhaps her favorite role of all was being "Nana." She was a doting and endlessly loving presence in the lives of her grandchildren: Nico, Luca, Emmy, and Alex. To them, she was a source of infinite hugs, little treats, wisdom, and the kind of love that only a grandmother can provide.

Ali lived for her family. Her home was a sanctuary, her presence was our comfort, and her legacy will live on in every story we tell and every tradition we carry forward. We find peace knowing she is at rest, having lived a life full of the love she so freely gave to others.
