Alison Ethington

2000 - 2026

Alison Rachel Ethington (née Wright), age 26, passed away on March 19, 2026, in Alamogordo, New Mexico. Born on March 6, 2000, in Sacramento, California, Alison brought a radiant light into the world that touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.

On May 21, 2021, Alison married James Ethington, her soulmate and partner in life's journey. Their love was a tapestry woven with laughter, shared adventures, and an unbreakable bond. Alison is deeply missed by her devoted mother, Virginia Wright; her sisters, Victoria Berrios and Aries Cunningham; and countless others who cherished her vibrant spirit. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Robert and Ida Bickerton, as well as her great-grandmother, Vesta Bickerton.

Alison's adventurous spirit defined much of her life. She found joy in taking long drives to explore the beauty of the world around her—each journey filled with curiosity and wonder. Her sense of humor was unforgettable; she had a way of lighting up even the darkest days with her playful wit and signature giggle that followed her endearing phrase: "No... ummm okay!"

Blessed with an extraordinary memory for details, Alison often amazed those around her by recalling small but meaningful observations—like someone's favorite drink order—even when their name eluded her. This thoughtful attention reflected the genuine care she extended to others and left an indelible mark on many hearts.

A creative soul at heart, Alison expressed herself through painting and music. She delighted in solving puzzles and mazes of all kinds—a testament to both her sharp mind and love for challenges. Babies held a special place in Alison's heart; she adored their innocence and joy. Her nurturing nature shone brightly in everything she did. And when it came to food—great meals were another source of happiness for Alison—a celebration of life's simple pleasures.

Though Alison's time here was far too brief, the memories she created remain as enduring treasures for those who knew and loved her. Her adventurous spirit and boundless love will continue to inspire all who carry forward the legacy of joy she so generously shared with the world.

May we honor Alison by embracing life with curiosity and kindness as she so beautifully did during her time among us.
