Amber A. McNutt entered into eternal rest on November 27, 2025. Amber was born in Marion, Wisconsin on July 31, 1931, the youngest daughter of Albert and Anna (Wolf) Ruehmling. She is survived by her devoted husband, Jerry J. McNutt, to whom she was united in Holy Matrimony on June 18, 1952. Amber is preceded in death by five of her six siblings and their spouses; brothers Lawrence (Eleanor) and Marvin of Marion, Wisconsin and Al (Joyce) of Sanibel, Florida and her sisters Vergene/Jeanie (Rocky) Jacobsen of Crystal Lake, Illinois and Deloris (Don) Schultz of Dousman, Wisconsin, formerly Tavares, Florida. Her beloved brother, Lee Ruehmling of Oshkosh, Wisconsin mourns her passing, with sister-in-laws Hershey Ruehmling (wife of Marvin) and Donna Ruehmling (wife of Lee), her devoted nieces and nephews, extended family members and so many friends that have loved and cherished Amber's fellowship and friendship throughout the years. Amber was lovingly cared for by the staff of Alto/Osprey Assisted Living Facility in Tavares, Florida, during her last several years and it was there she passed away.

Early in life Amber chose to serve the Lord and she remained true to that choice to the end of her days. Her home with Jerry was always open to the workers and she loved fellowship with them and the many friends with whom she met while she was yet able. Her testimony and last words were from her favorite hymn, "My heart is made glad as I walk in the Way and love lights the path for me day by day; Thy mercy and truth are my joy and delight; Though fierce be the storm and though dark the night." Amber knew that storms come in life and days are not always sunshine, but she was so thankful to know the one that can bring forth victory out of defeat and strength out of weakness.

Amber was special and loved and is warmly remembered by all.

Following cremation, the ashes for Amber and Jerry will be interred together, as desired, at the National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida, with military presence. Service arrangements will be decided by the family at a future time.
