Ana "Anita" Sanoy, born on July 26, 1951, in Dalaguet, Cebu, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2026, in El Paso, TX. She was 74 years old.
Anita was the devoted mother of three children: Andrew Freeman, James Freeman, and Rebecca Freeman. She also cherished her extended family in the Philippines, who remained close to her heart throughout her life. Anita was predeceased by her son Johnny Denzel Davis, who passed away in July 2013.
A devoted mother, grandmother, and friend to many, Ana lived a life centered on faith, generosity, and family. As the wife of an active-duty military serviceman, she lived in the Philippines, Arizona, and Florida before eventually settling in Alamogordo, New Mexico. She worked tirelessly to support both her immediate and extended family and remained deeply connected to her roots in Cebu.
Anita was a devoted Catholic Christian who carried her faith closely, often keeping an image of a saint within reach. She loved bringing people together through food, laughter, and fellowship. Known for her warm heart and welcoming spirit, she was affectionately called Nay-Nay, Ate', Di, and friend by those whose lives she touched.
A Memorial Service will be held on March 14, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Immaculate Conception Church, 705 Delaware Ave. Following the service, a Memorial Gathering will take place from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Washington Park North Pavilion, 100 Washington Ave.
