Andrew "Andy" Joseph Walsh III

1960 - 2025

Andrew "Andy" Joseph Walsh III passed away peacefully on November 27, 2025, surrounded by friends and loved ones. His final days included time outdoors with those he loved most, his wife, grandson, mother, and daughter-in-law.

Andy was born in Providence, Rhode Island, where he attended East Providence High School. Immediately upon graduation in 1979, he joined the US Marine Corps, serving as Lance Corporal until his honorable discharge in 1983. Andy worked as an engineer for Texas Instruments in Rhode Island before relocating to Florida and becoming a partner in Walsh Commercial Cleaning.

Purely by happenstance, Tonya and Andy met nearly twenty years ago. It was truly a "love at first sight" connection and the couple married just nine months later! On November 20, 2025, they celebrated 19 wonderful years of marriage. Andy loved music and playing guitar. He and Tonya were happiest during nightly serenades, when Andy would play guitar while she prepared dinner.

Andy enjoyed daily walks around the neighborhood. He was often seen at Tonya's side, supporting community events by the Rotary Club of FishHawk-Riverview. The couple donated time and money to a variety of charitable causes, especially through Rotary.

Andy was preceded in death by his father, Andrew Walsh II, and his son, Andrew Walsh IV. He is survived by his mother, Patricia Walsh; his wife, Tonya Walsh and her daughter Jennifer Boleyn (CJ Dellinger); his son, Ryan Walsh (Becky); his daughter-in-law, Amanda Walsh; and two grandchildren, Andrew Walsh V and Sophia Walsh.

A celebration of Life is scheduled at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Presbyterian Church of Bloomingdale, 710 E. Bloomingdale Ave., Brandon, FL 33511. Visitation at 12:30 pm. A reception will follow. Ceremony will be live streamed from the Presbyterian Church of Bloomingdale Facebook page

Military services will be held at a future date and location to be determined.

In lieu of flowers, friends and loved ones are encouraged to make donations to CVMA (CombatVet.us), 4 Lucky Dogs Pet Rescue (4LuckyDogsPetRescue.RescueGroups.org), or the benevolent cause of their choosing.
