He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Accounting, a field that fit his sharp mind and meticulous nature. Anyone who worked with him knew he was an absolute wizard with Excel — the person who could untangle any spreadsheet and somehow make it look effortless.
Andrew had three great loves that followed him everywhere: sports, music, and dogs. He never missed a chance to cheer on his Wisconsin (or his nephew's) teams, and he had an easy, magnetic way of connecting with any dog he met. Music was woven through his life — whether he was playing his guitar, singing, or simply turning up a song that meant something to him. Those who knew him will remember the soundtrack he created around himself, one that spoke when he didn't always feel like using words.
He is survived by his siblings Cindy, Amy DeRosa, and Eric; his niece Samantha; and his nephews Ryan DeRosa, Cameron (Monique) Holland, and Domenic, as well as many family, friends, and colleagues who felt the impact of his presence. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Christine.
