Andrew Todd Vadas (Todd), 75, of Lakewood, Colorado, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2026, at home after a multi-year battle with Parkinson's Disease.

Todd was born July 16th, 1950, at Akron General hospital to Julia (Bolha) and Andrew Vadas. He was raised from birth in Cleveland Heights, OH, and attended St. Ann's grade school and Cathedral Latin School, graduating in 1968. After graduation, Todd moved to Columbus, OH, to attend the Ohio State University, earning a degree in Art History. Todd spent the first half of his adult life in Cincinnati, OH, where he raised his three children, Elizabeth, Leigh, and Andrew. He spent his career in construction working for Barrington Homes and his own company, Vadas Homes and Construction.

He moved to the Denver, Colorado area to work with his brother and best friend, Bud, in the early 2000s. It was in Denver that he was introduced to his wife, Willa Fuller, by mutual friends, who remained his loving and devoted wife until his death.

Todd was an avid sports fan and could often be found yelling and cheering for his favorite team, the Cleveland Browns, on Sundays in the fall. In addition to the Browns, he loved the Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Cavaliers, the Colorado Avalanche, and the Ohio State Buckeye football and basketball teams. Todd had a love for creating art and spent a lot of his free time painting abstract water color paintings, eventually being featured in his own art show in 2017. Aside from art and sports, Todd's greatest hobby was inspired by his father's job as an engineer on the New York Central Railroad, and later as the head of the railroad union. He loved everything train related, especially model trains and riding on Amtrak. Some of his greatest memories were spent with family and friends on train trips across the US and Canada.

Todd was a devoted son, brother, cousin, uncle, and father. There was nothing that made him happier than spending time with his family, telling jokes and stories. In the summer of 2022, Todd traveled with 20 of his family members to their motherland, Slovenia, which was a lifelong dream. He was a coach for his children's sports teams and always could be heard cheering and yelling at the refs on the sidelines. He loved comedy and spent countless hours watching Saturday Night Live and comedic movies with his children.

Todd is preceded in death by his parents, Julia and Andrew, and his three older sisters Judith, Andrea, and Maribeth, whom he adored. He is survived by his wife, Willa Fuller, his three children Elizabeth (Paul) of Chicago, Leigh (Stuart) of Denver, and Andrew (Eleanor) of Seattle; his two prized grandchildren, Georgia and Llewyn of Chicago; his sister Jane (Arthur), brother Bob (Han), and his youngest brother and best friend, Bud (Carrie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, who meant the world to him, and many cousins who he held close to his heart.

A celebration of life will be planned at a later time.
