Angela M. Salerno, best known as Angel, of Ventnor City passed away at Shore Memorial Hospital after a long battle with cancer on December 4, 2025 at the age of 67 with her loving family by her side. Born on August 9, 1958, Angel was raised in South Philly, where she was the life of the party and the #1 Disco queen with many nights spent dancing, but her love for the beach and her family encouraged her relocation to the shore in Ventnor Heights. She graduated from St. Maria Goretti High School in Philadelphia and worked at the Hilton/Atlantic Club managing the restaurants and was loved by the employees along with the guests, where she was reconnected with the love of her life, Karen. Angel loved to spend time soaking up the sun on Kingston Avenue in Atlantic City with family and friends. Survivors include her wife Karen; daughter Angela (Dan); three grandchildren Adrianna, Hayden and Daniel; brothers John (Michelle), Joe (Paula) and sister Julia (Ron). She had three nephews, Carmen, John and Victor and niece Sofia. Angela was preceded in death by her mother Mary and father Carmen. A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th starting at 9am at St. James Church, 6415 Atlantic Ave in Ventnor City followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am.
