Angelo Weeden

Shaykh Angelo "Ali" Weeden, a respected elder and devout Muslim, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2025, in La Belle, Pennsylvania. He was 73 years old.

Born on June 28, 1951, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Angelo's life journey was marked by resilience, wisdom, and unwavering faith. Despite facing many personal challenges throughout his life, he remained steadfast in his beliefs and dedicated himself to guiding others with compassion and insight.

Angelo was honored with the title of Shaykh in recognition of his deep scholarly knowledge and elder status within the Islamic faith. His commitment to Islam was not only evident in his personal devotion but also in the way he mentored younger generations. Many who had experienced hardship found solace and direction through his counsel.
