Anje Beth (Clink) Anstaett, 61, was welcomed into Jesus’ arms on February 6, 2026. She passed peacefully at her home in Olathe, Kansas, surrounded by family.

Born May 3, 1964, in Lawrence, Kansas, Anje attended Burlingame High School and Kansas State University and later continued her education at the University of New Mexico. In 1984, she married her high school sweetheart, Randall “Randy” Anstaett, with whom she remained best friends throughout her life.

Anje’s life was defined by faithful caring for others—both in her home and in her ministry. She was a devoted stay-at-home mom, a homeschool mom, a preschool teacher, and a talented seamstress. For more than a decade, she also served in ministry with Cru through FamilyLife, International Leadership Academies, and the inner-city ministries. Additionally, she was involved in her church community through many activities, including teaching women’s Bible studies and participating in MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers).

Known as a prayer warrior, Anje cared deeply for people and faithfully prayed for and stayed in contact with those for whom she prayed. Even during her battle with cancer, her desire was to be used however God might use her. Because of her faith, Anje maintained a good sense of humor through her struggles—bringing warmth and lightness to those around her.

Anje was preceded in death by parents, Richard and Donelda Sage; two sons, Jonathon and David; and her father-in-law, Thomas Anstaett. She is survived by her husband, Randy Anstaett; her children Michael (Allanna), Sarah (Brandon), Benjamin (Kaylen), and Elizabeth “Izzy” (William); and seven grandchildren: Matthew, Sawyer, Annabelle, Luna, Calvin, Clara, and Micah. She will be greatly missed by many family members and friends, and lovingly remembered for the way her faith impacted the lives of those who knew her.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, March 28, at 10:30 a.m. at Fellowship Bible Church, 16900 S Waverly Rd, Gardner, KS 66030.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anje’s name to Kansas City Hospice, a nonprofit organization, online at https://kchospice.org/donate/ or by mail to Kansas City Hospice, 9001 State Line Road, Suite 300, Kansas City, MO 64114.
