Ann Moskowitz of North Babylon, NY, passed away on February 2, 2026, just shy of her 84th birthday. Born on February 6, 1942, Ann lived a life marked by kindness and a deep commitment to her family and community.
Ann was a beacon of love and care throughout her life. Known for her selflessness, she always placed the needs of others above her own. Her role as a doting grandmother was one of her greatest joys, providing her with endless pride and happiness.
Ann leaves behind a loving family, including her husband, Jeffrey; her children, Michael (Stephanie) and Laura (Christopher Teemsma); and her brother, Brian Ellwanger. She was a cherished grandmother to Marifrances, Madelyn, Paige, Olivia, and Christopher Jeffrey. Her family was her pride and joy, and her guidance and love shaped their lives profoundly. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary Ellwanger, and her brothers, Lawrence and Buddy.
A burial service will be held at New Montefiore Cemetery in West Babylon, NY, on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at 1:00 PM. Ann's life and legacy will be remembered fondly by all who knew her, as a guiding light and a source of unwavering support. Contributions in her memory may be made to Long Island Cares, a cause close to her heart. Ann's legacy of kindness and care will undoubtedly live on through the many lives she touched.
