Anne Elizabeth Hardy (née Wright), age 84, passed away on January 16, 2026, in Liberty Township, Ohio. Born on May 27, 1941, in Bradenton, Florida, Anne lived a life defined by joy, generosity, and an unwavering love for those around her.

Anne earned her bachelor's degree from the University of South Florida and went on to dedicate many years of her life to music education. As a junior high school teacher in Florida, she taught general music and led the chorus with passion and warmth. Her classroom was a place where students not only learned about music but also felt seen and inspired. She was deeply loved by many of her students, who remembered her not just as a teacher but as someone who made learning joyful and meaningful.

Beyond her professional life, Anne was a woman of vibrant spirit and boundless generosity. She had an adventurous heart and a zest for life that was contagious. Whether she was playing cards with friends, going shopping, or traveling to explore beautiful places, Anne embraced every moment with enthusiasm. She especially cherished time spent with friends and family—her greatest joy came from being with her two grandsons, Henry and Oliver. Her home was often filled with laughter during get-togethers with friends, where she would always have a cup of hot tea with cream in hand.

Anne's giving nature touched everyone she met. She found happiness in making others happy—whether through small acts of kindness or simply being present when someone needed a friend. She was that rare kind of person who made others feel lighter just by being near.

In recent years, Anne faced one of life's greatest challenges with extraordinary courage. Diagnosed over four years ago with an aggressive form of Multiple Myeloma and given only months to live, she refused to accept that prognosis. With characteristic determination and grace, she fought for every moment—never giving up hope and never losing her love for life. Even in her final days, Anne continued to inspire those around her with strength and resilience.

Anne is survived by her daughter Sarah; son-in-law Christopher; beloved grandsons Henry and Oliver; and her brother Lynnwood Wright. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill Hardy.

May Anne's memory bring comfort to all who knew her and continue to inspire those whose lives she touched so deeply.
