Anthony Cucchi

Anthony "Tony" Cucchi passed away on August 12, 2025. Born on August 15th, 1941, to Clem and Antoinette Cucchi and raised in the Overbrook section of Philadelphia, the family were devoted members of St. Donato parish. Tony attended St. Donato elementary school and later St. Thomas More high school. Subsequent to graduation he entered the United States Army, where he learned the skills that led to his long career as a hair stylist, owning his own studio in Wayne, Pennsylvania.
Marrying Marie Sacco on May 8th, 1965, Tony and Marie enjoyed a 60-year marriage during which they raised two beautiful daughters, Christine and Lisa, and later enjoyed the addition of three grandsons, Jason, David, and Justin, and two great-granddaughters, Sophia and Giovanna. Together with their sons-in-law Artie and Glenn and eventually Jason's wife Zoe, the family treasured their time together, celebrating birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, summer vacations in Sea Isle City NJ, and much more.
Tony and Marie also spent much time with friends and their extended family of cousins, including Terri and Anthony Cucchi, Joanne and Tony Elefante, Virginia and Louie Sforza, Chippy and John Martin, Joanne Mattia, Fran DePiano, Angela Calhoun and many others. From summer picnics to Christmas Eve parties, Caribbean cruises, simple lunches and everything in between, this much loved and very close group of family and friends lived, laughed, and even cried together through their entire lives, building memories and creating stories that will live for generations to come.
In later years, Tony and Marie along with Christine, Lisa, and their families accomplished their collective move from the Philadelphia suburbs to Central Florida, where they continue to gather and honor the legacy of family instilled in them by Tony and Marie. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude and best wishes to all those who knew and loved Tony and brought him so much joy through the years.
