November 11, 2025.
His Lord and Savior was his first and last Love.
He was born in Jacksonville, Florida on September 14, 1960.
He graduated Fletcher High School in 1978 and went on to join the Navy and become a Sea-Bee and sailor of the quarter. He was proud to serve his country and patriotism was his battle cry.
He was retired from a career of government contract work and was never far from the men and women that served our great country.
Simultaneously, he ran Florio Palm Valley Ranch for 20 years; a testament to his parents' and grandparents' legacy of 60 years on his family compound.
He had many accomplishments in his life, but the time spent with his Children, Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren were his greatest.
After his retirement, he travelled with family and friends and made it a point to visit old friends and new. No one was a stranger, although his family and friends were always foremost in his mind and heart.
He will be missed for his unyielding loyalty to God and his family.
He leaves his wife Kandi, married for 29 years, his sons Adam (Maggie)
and Jonathan (Beth), Kandi's daughter, Denielle Hartman raised as his own; Grandchildren, Daniel, Ryleigh, Colt, Gabriella, LeaAnne, Barry, and great-granchildren, James and Grayson. Many nieces and nephews, and surrogate children that he mentored.
He is pre-ceded in death by his father, Bill and Joanne Florio, sister and brother-in-law, Tia and Bill Stratton.
A Celebration of Life will be held at The Club Continental on 12/6/2025 from 10:00am-1:00pm.
