Anthony William Ledbetter, age 73, passed away on December 15, 2025.

Anthony was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and raised in Stoneham, Massachusetts. He graduated from Stoneham High School where he ran track. Anthony was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Stoneham, he served faithfully as an altar boy in his youth.

Anthony proudly served his country as a United States Navy veteran during the Vietnam War, where he worked as a meteorologist. His service reflected his dedication, and sense of duty.

A happy-go-lucky and social person, Anthony truly loved being around people. He enjoyed good conversation and connection, and his warmth and easygoing nature left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was an avid outdoorsman, he loved fishing and hunting and found peace in nature. When he wasn't fishing he enjoyed golfing. Not many knew he was also a talented artist who enjoyed creating art and sharing his creativity with others.

He was a devoted father and grandfather and took great pride in his family. Anthony is survived by his son, Joshua Ledbetter of Bow, New Hampshire; his daughter-in-law, Susan Ledbetter; and his beloved granddaughters, Shelby, Madelyn, and Ava Ledbetter.

He was predeceased by his parents, Jack V. Ledbetter and Mary Valentina (Salivitti) Ledbetter, and by his siblings, Robert L. Ledbetter, Gloria McClay, and Elaine Ledbetter.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on December 19, 2025, at St. Patrick's Church in Stoneham, Massachusetts. Burial will follow at 2:45 p.m. at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, New Hampshire.

Anthony will be remembered for his joyful spirit, love of people, devotion to family, service to his country, and appreciation for the outdoors and the arts. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
