Anthony McMillon

1957 - 2026

Anthony “Mac” “Tony” McMillon, our beloved eldest son, brother, uncle, and everything in between, transitioned from this life on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at the age of 68.

He leaves behind so many who love him deeply: his father, Hosea McMillon; his stepson, Kenyatta Thomas; his sisters, Sharon Williams (Jeffrey) and Octavia Simpson (Kenny); his brother, Leon McMillon; his nieces, Janelle Kwasniak, Jelayna Williams, Katiera McMillon, and Kayona McMillon; his nephews, Kalen, Kavon, Kyree, and Keon McMillon; along with a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will forever feel his absence and carry his love.
Anthony wasn’t just family—he was that person. The one you called when you needed help, advice, a laugh, or just someone to show up. And he always did. He stepped into so many roles in our lives—big brother, uncle, mentor, protector, and even a father figure—and he carried each one with love and responsibility.

If you knew Anthony, you knew his spirit. You knew his jokes (even the ones that didn’t quite hit), his laugh, and the way he could shift the whole mood of a room just by being in it. He had a way of making people feel comfortable, seen, and cared for.

He loved to travel and was full of energy; he was an ace when it came to fixing things- if he didn’t know he'd take the time to learn. A proud graduate of Embry Riddle Aeronautical, he dedicated most of his career as an aviation mechanic. After retiring, he transitioned to the healthcare sector, serving as a biomedical technician, using his expertise in medical equipment maintenance & technology.

Anthony loved people. He made friends everywhere he went, smiling, laughing treating all with respect. But more than anything he loved his family. He showed that love not just in words, but in action- guiding, teaching, supporting, and always being present.

He gave his life to Jesus Christ and was a passionate student of the Word, engaging in bible studies and supporting a men's organization that reached out to young men in the local area. He poured his heart into the lives of young men, especially within his family. He wanted them to understand who they were, what they were capable of, what it means to be an effective black man, and imparting wisdom about supporting family, financial stewardship, and the importance of love. He led by example.

Anthony truly embraced his mission in life. The way he lived, the way he loved, and the way he showed up for people will stay with us forever.

We are eternally grateful to our God for giving us this light. So, while this hurts --- and it does---his legacy will continue to inspire all who knew him. We celebrate his life, his laughter, his wisdom and the love he gave so freely.

"Well done, good and faithful servant." - Matthew 25.23

Honoring Anthony’s wishes, there will not be a formal funeral service. As a memorial to celebrate his life, our family warmly invites you to share your condolences, memories, and photos on his Facebook page and here, where your thoughts and stories will be deeply cherished.
