Anthony "Tony" Alois Moroder, Jr., 73, passed away on February 27, 2026. Born on June 13, 1952, and resided in Fox Point, Wisconsin. Tony later raised his family in Mequon, where he built a life centered on love, family, and hard work. He was happiest when surrounded by those he cared about and valued the many friendships he formed over the years.
After retiring from Walsh Piano & Furniture Movers, Inc., Tony found a new passion mentoring with the Nicolet High School football team. Affectionately known as "Pops," he spent nine proud years encouraging athletes and staff, offering steady guidance, humor, and unwavering support. He took great pride in being part of the program and formed lasting friendships with players, coaches, and families along the way.
Tony loved life's simple pleasures. He enjoyed tending his garden and devoted great care and attention to it. Above all, he cherished time with his grandchildren, who brought him immense joy. Whether sharing stories, cheering them on, or simply being together, those moments meant the world to him.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Peggy; his parents, Anthony and Geraldine; and his sister, Lizabeth Ludowissi.
Tony is survived by his six children, Adrienne (Eric) Tomaszewski, Andrew, Kirsten (Gregory) Lanza, Molly (Joseph) Hendricks, Alexander (Gabrielle), and Kasey (Anthony) Senner; 14 grandchildren: Amanda, Michael, Sam, Austin, Alexis, Allyssah, Silvio, Carley, Hailey, Margaret, Josephine, Myles, Brooklyn, and Max; two great-grandchildren, Theodore and Noah; and his siblings, Marc (Sue), Christine (Paul), Christopher (Joanie), Paul (Pam), Mary (Jim), Gerard (Marie), and Greg (Katy); and brother-in-law, David Ludowissi.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at St. Eugene Catholic Church beginning at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Mass at 11:00 a.m. A celebration of Tony's life will follow from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at the Sommer Pavilion at River Barn Park in Mequon. All who knew and loved Tony are welcome to attend.
Tony will be remembered for his steady presence and the deep love he had for his family and friends.
