Anthony J. Ryan Sr.

Anthony "Tony" J. Ryan Sr. (66) of Egg Harbor City, NJ passed away January 28, 2026 with family beside him.

Born on June 4, 1959 in Atlantic City, NJ to parents John "Jack" and Anne Ryan.

Anthony was a graduate of Absegami High School and worked as a Finisher with the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades from 1977 until his retirement in 2014.

Anthony enjoyed coaching his children's baseball teams, being outdoors, sports, and hunting. After his retirement he also enjoyed birdwatching and cooking.

He is survived by his beloved wife Karen, his children, Jennifer Ryan, Anthony "T.J."Ryan Jr., Christopher Ryan, Randy Ryan, Kelly Ryan, and Kody Ryan. His Grandchildren, Gage Westervelt, Randy Ryan Jr., Zoe Reagan, Sydney Ryan, Koltyn Ryan, Jackson Ryan, Olivia Ryan, and Spencer Ryan.
His siblings Anne Ryan, Kathleen Unsworth(Norman), John "Jack" Ryan Jr.(Linda) and Barbara Shaughnessy(Michael) as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Anne Ryan (nee Mangone)

Services are private and at the discretion of his family.

A Celebration of Anthony's Life will be announced by his family at a later date.
