Anthony (Tony) DeBaise, 95 of Christmas Florida, passed away April 4, 2026 in his home surrounded by his wife Patricia DeBaise and step son Michael DeBaise and Jackie Hotchkiss (Michael's wife). Survived by his daughter Tammy DeBaise-Asbury (Fort Collins, CO), son-in-law Bruce Asbury and his son Anthony (Tony) DeBaise (New Hartford, CT) and his Grand Daughter Sabrina DeBaise.
Anthony Alexander (Tony) DeBaise was born in Wallingford October 21, 1931. Son of the late Pasquale and Susie DellaVecchia DeBaise. When Tony was born on October 21, 1931, his father wanted to name him after his good friend Alexander. The older children preferred the name Anthony, so he was named Anthony Alexander. Tony lived in Wallingford, CT in the early years of his life. He joined the Marines. During his training on Parris Island he received a promotion to Private First Class. He also received the Silver Cross badge of Marine Sharpshooter. He fired 219 of a possible 250 points with the Garand rifle. He moved to Merritt Island Florida around three years after he and his wife Viola gave birth to their daughter Tammy. They owned a trailer park filled with various fruit trees and a pond by the main house filled with Koi fish. During this time Anthony Alexander (Tony) was born. It was a few years later Tony bought himself a house and land in Christmas FL. Patricia and her two children Michael and Becky soon joined him. A few years went by and he was reunited with his children from his first marriage. Tony's profession of working in the construction industry had him traveling to various cities, but he loved coming home to his house in the country. Over the years he was employed with various construction company's building bridges and working for construction companies involved in the hotel vacation industry. Just a few of his projects were WED -1975 Disney's Space Mountain, Weller Pools - 1989 Disney's Typhoon Lagoon, 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games.
