It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Anthony (Tony) Romo Jr., who passed away peacefully on January 5, 2026, at the age of 66, surrounded by love.
Born on May 1, 1959, in Chicago, Illinois, he was raised in Bensenville, Illinois. Tony lived a life defined by strength, resilience, faith, and a deep, unwavering love for his family. Tony was a longtime resident of Aurora, Illinois, where he attended MorningStar Community Church. He and his family later moved to Streator, Illinois, before he found his freedom and peace in Wyanet, Illinois.
Tony was a pillar of strength whose raw humor brought smiles to everyone who knew him. He could make a friend in an instant and loved sharing his personal experiences with anyone willing to listen.
