Anthony Olin White Sr., age 76, of Orange, entered into rest on January 22, 2026. He was born in Derby on June 20, 1949, the son of the late Anthony and Cecile (Hanson) White.
Known to many as Tony, he is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Sun; his daughter, Victoria White; his son, Anthony White Jr.; and his cherished grandson, Jake Anthony White. He is also survived by his sister, Judy Taylor; his brothers, Raymond and Paul White; and several nieces and nephews. Tony was predeceased by his sisters, Rosemary and Lorraine White, and his brothers, Johnny, David, Albie, and Philip White.
Tony proudly served in the United States Army and later retired from the railroad in New Haven, Connecticut, where he worked for Amtrak as an electrician.
Above all, Tony loved his family. He built model trains with his son and took his children on many memorable trips to Boston by rail and to Mt. Tom State Park, where he and his son would hike to the top. Throughout his life, he enjoyed watching his daughter play and later coach softball. In later years, he remodeled both of his children's first homes, taking great pride in helping them with projects and guiding them through life. His greatest joy came with the arrival of his only grandchild, Jake. Tony delighted in watching Jake grow and learn, cherishing his silly antics and kind, caring personality.
