Antonette Massey

Antonette Massey, 62, of Gary, Indiana, passed away on November 21, 2025 in Southlake hospital with her daughters by her side.
Antonette Massey was born April 16, 1963 in Gary, Indiana. She graduated from WestSide High School.
Antonette Massey worked for the City of Gary General Service as a CDL driver in the Street Department for decades. She then became a CNA and was currently working for TradeWinds. She was called Mother X-Treme to alot of kids around the city. She loved watching black and white movies, dancing, going to the beach, trying new foods, and watching Kountry Wayne skits but most importantly she loved helping others, taking care of her grandkids, and playing with her dog.
Antonette Massey is survived by her daughters,Tameca D. Wilson and Sandra C. Wilson. Her sister, Linda(William) Owens. Her brothers, Johnny(Carmen) Massey, Albert( Robin) Massey, Roosevelt Massey, Cleo(Martha) Massey. Her grandchildren, Kei'Breonna Wilson, Keyonna Moore, Jalen Weathersby, Ja'Rae Marve', Ja'Leighya Marve', and Kennedy Johnson. Her Great- Grandbaby, Moricai. Her dog Mo-Mo and a host of other family and friends.
Antonette Massey is preceded in death by her parents, Albert L. Massey and Claudia M. Simpson. Her son, Alonzo L. Massey(Dove). Her sister, LaTisha Renee Massey. Her brothers Vernard Rouster, Anthony Rouster, and Julius Dupree.
