Antonio Aponte Morales

Antonio Aponte Morales, 87, of Manville, New Jersey passed away peacefully on Monday, March 2, 2026 at Wilmington Hospital in Delaware.

Born January 18, 1939, in Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico, he was the son of late Francisco Aponte and Agustina Morales. He was a professional cook at Johnson and Johnson for 40 years, where he later retired.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Francisco Aponte and Agustina Morales; his wife of 38 years, Dorothy Alice Aponte ; and brother, Juan Segundo. Antonio is survived by his daughter, Justina Calloway; son, Tony Aponte Jr; grandchildren, Nechoh Calloway, Everett Calloway, Tyler Ebersole, Cyrus Calloway, Ciera Aponte, Hadasa Calloway, Evan Aponte, Oriana Calloway; great-grandchildren, Rosemary Toney, Lewis Toney; brothers, Francisco(Paco), Bartolomès(Bartolo); sisters, Nelly, Irene, Marta(Martita), Regina(Rege).

Antonio(Tony)(Quino) dedicated his life to his family and ensured a deeply lovingly environment. He was a very loving, kind and compassionate husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. One of Antonio`s favorite pass times was Dancing. Wherever there was music he just had to dance. He enjoyed cooking, playing Bingo, going for long walks and playing baseball on Nintendo. He grew up on a farm and loved horses.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 1PM on Zoom with Family due to family living Internationally. This will be private.
