Antonio (Pedro) Herrera, age 55, of Albuquerque, NM, passed peacefully at his
home on Saturday, February 7, 2026.
He was a devoted
husband, brother,
uncle, and
son,
whose kindness and generosity touched everyone who knew him.
Antonio dedicated 30 years of loyal service to MRC Global, where he was not only known for his tireless work ethic but also for his
knowledge, experience, and
steady presence. He took great pride in his work and believed in doing things thoroughly and the right way.
Most recently, he continued his career with Mountain States,
bringing the same dedication, experience, and
professionalism.
Throughout his career, he built long-lasting relationships.
He will be
remembered
not only
for his
accomplishments, but also for his character, loyalty, and genuine connections with others. Antonio enjoyed the outdoors. He loved boating, fishing,
motorcycle riding,
spending the summer days out in the pool with his kids, and was an avid hunter. Antonio took great pride and joy in being part of the Eastern Hills Christian Academy Archery coaching staff.
Watching his daughter and her teammates learn and succeed in archery brought him so many smiles.
Antonio is survived by his wife, Holly with whom he shared 22 treasured years, children Ariel (Jack Haz-zard), Kayden, Antonio, Paige and Sophia; his parents Antonio Herrera and Rose (David Paul) Herrera; his siblings Tonia (Rick) Martinez, Rita (James) Spade, Lisa (Sean) Burr, and Vincent (Maria) Herrera.
He also
leaves many cherished nieces, nephews, and friends, along with Rolando Franco and Yunier Lopez, two friends who meant the world to him. His loss is immeasurable,
and he
will forever remain the love and
strength for our family!
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Matilda Herrera; his Nina Josie Herrera; his niece, Ashley Burr; his brother-in-law, Brian Thompson; his father-in-law, William Thompson; numerous aunts, uncles, and other loved ones; and so many beloved pets that were part of our family throughout the years.
