Antonio "Tony" Louis Prandini passed away peacefully with his family at his side on February 16, 2026, in San Luis Obispo, California. He was 93 years old.

Tony was born on June 8, 1932, in Porterville, California, to Antonio and Teresa Prandini. He graduated from Porterville Union High School in 1951. After graduating from Porterville College in 1953, Tony served honorably in the US Army during the Korean War.

In 1953, Tony married Glenda Stout. During their 21 years of marriage, they were blessed with eight children. Tony married Janet Barnes in 1988 and they remained married until her passing in 2000. In 2002, Tony married Mary "Cici" Cullins (Reynolds), with whom he shared his later years.

Tony is survived by his children, Angela Prandini; Andrea Prandini (Miranda Gray); Camillo Prandini (Lorene); Livia Prunty (John); Elisa Prandini; Marissa Prandini (Mark Armstrong); and Damian Carlson-Prandini (Suzanne); his loving wife, Mary "Cici" Prandini and her family; his brother, Carlo Prandini Sr.; his sisters, Argilia Christiansen and Barbara teNyenhuis (André); his sister-in-law, Becky Prandini; and the Barnes Family.

Tony's legacy continues through his grandchildren: Gianna Taylor (Cameron); Nick Prunty (Delaney); Dominick Prandini; Allie Prunty; Max Prandini; Mark Armstrong (Codie); Scotty Prunty (Sophia); Zachary Prandini (Kimberly); Jenny Armstrong; and Lucia Carlson-Prandini. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren, Trace Taylor and Caleb Prunty.

Tony was preceded in death by his brother, Angelo Prandini; his son, Tony Prandini Jr.; and his granddaughter, Danielle Prandini.

Tony will be deeply missed by special friends Raul and Jessie Gonzalez, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends who loved him very much.

The family extends a heartfelt thank you to Zia Becky, Angelo, Lucia, and Phil for their love and support, given not just in words but in action and sacrifice, especially while Tony lived in Porterville.

Tony was a wonderful father. He worked tirelessly to provide for his family, loved his children beyond measure, and was a constant source of guidance, encouragement, and unconditional love throughout their lives. He will be deeply missed.

Recitation of the Rosary, followed immediately by the funeral Mass, will be held at St. Paul Catholic Newman Center on Monday, March 16, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. (1572 E. Barstow Avenue, Fresno, CA 93710).

Internment will take place at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. (264 N. Blythe Avenue, Fresno, CA 93706).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the SIDS or Leukemia Foundations or to a charity of your choice.
