April Lynne Jackson, 34, an angel on loan, was called home on March 30, 2026. She passed away peacefully surrounded by the presence and love of her family.
April was truly a miracle. Having overcome numerous medical challenges and defying odds from the start, she proved doctors wrong for over three decades; even though they predicted she would not live past two years old due to her heart and lung conditions. She lived on love and was a true blessing from God. April is a cherished daughter, a beloved sister, aunt, and friend, and deeply loved by all who knew her. She filled their lives with love, laughter and a light that shined so bright.
April received her high school diploma and continued her love for learning at home. She carried the warmth of a close-knit family upbringing throughout her life. She embraced life with a passion for spending time with her family, singing her heart out on the swing, doing sign language, learning Spanish, playing with her American Girl dolls and soft dolls. The magic of Christmas lived in April's heart all year long. She found endless joy in holiday movies, often filling the room with a festive spirit regardless of the season and impressively reciting her favorite lines by heart. She loved to laugh and loved hearing others laugh even more.
She is survived by her mother, Regina (Bernard) Rogers; stepfather, Chris Rogers; her father, Stephen A. Jackson Sr.; stepmother, Lisa (Doherty) Jackson; sisters, Amy Wainwright and brother-in-law Adam, Nicole Jackson, and Trisha Rabbitt and brother-in-law, Donovan; her brother, Stephen Jackson Jr. and Elizabeth Mendes; step-brothers, Robert Demers, his wife Shannon, and Ryan Demers, his wife Lauren; along with 16 adoring nieces and nephews and many loving aunts and uncles. Her extended family includes many devoted nurses , especially Jeri Farrell, who came to call her family as well.
While her journey ended too soon, April's life was defined by the deep love she gave and an unwavering bond she shared with her family. She touched so many lives, and the light of her life will shine on through the many memories made with those she loved.
While April was loved by many, the family has chosen to mourn and celebrate her life in private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in April's memory may be made to the American Heart Association, American Kidney Foundation, or National Downs' Syndrome Society. These organizations reflect her caring spirit and her desire to help others in their battles and challenges.
