In Loving Memory of Arthur Russell Harris
Arthur Russell Harris — a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend — passed away peacefully on October 3, 2025.
He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Walsh; his daughter, Brenda Addiego-Gaines; and his cherished grandsons, Colin and Zach Addiego. He is also fondly remembered by his sisters, brother, sons-in-law, stepchildren, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends who were blessed to know him.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Viola Cogliandro Harris with whom he shared many wonderful years and their beloved daughter, Brenda.
In his youth, Art lived and worked on a cattle ranch in Nevada, where he developed his lifelong love for the land and the cowboy way of life — strong, hardworking, and true to his word. After moving to California, he pursued a career as a barber, opening his first barbershop in the 1960s. Over the years, Art became more than just a barber to his clients — he was a trusted friend, a good listener, and a respected part of his community.
Art loved his family deeply and found great joy in the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. To those who knew him, he was one of the most genuine and dependable men they’d ever met — a man of quiet strength, loyalty, and integrity.
His love, wisdom, and unwavering spirit will be forever remembered and deeply missed.
I will truly miss my dad —
