Arthur J. McLaughlin

Arthur "Art" J. McLaughlin, 71, of Huntingdon Valley, PA passed away peacefully on January 1, 2026. He was the devoted husband of Kathleen (nee Kuhn) for 45 years; loving father of Nicole, Matthew (Sharon), and Lauren (Andrew); proud Pop Pop of Grace, Cole, Liam, Fiona, Colin, Molly, and Nolan; brother of Kathleen and Timothy (Candy); uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was raised in the Lawndale section of Philadelphia by Arthur and Margaret "Peggy" McLaughlin. He attended Presentation BVM and was a graduate of Cardinal Dougherty High School class of 1972. Art was retired from the Carpenters Union Local 122 and a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH) Division 39 for over 30 years; he cherished the years he spent bartending at the AOH. A true Irishman, Art enjoyed a good party, spending time with his family and countless friends, golfing, fishing, and vacationing in North Wildwood. He was a true Eagles, Flyers, and Phillies fan. Everybody loved Artie. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate his life on Saturday, January 10th beginning with a visitation at 9 AM followed by a service at 11:30 AM at Wackerman Funeral Home, 8060 Verree Road, Philadelphia, PA 19111. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Eagles Autism Foundation, an organization that Art raised funds for via golf outings for many years.
