Arthur Raven

Art quietly left us on March 17. Born in Glasgow, Scotland, he moved to Victoria at the age of nine with his mom, dad, and brother.

Art loved the outdoors and spent much of his life doing what he enjoyed most—hunting, fishing, camping, and raising his family and his Labs. He followed in his father's footsteps and spent many years in the lumber industry, later working for several years as a realtor.

In his retirement, Art enjoyed spending time with the Victoria Golden Rods and Reels and volunteering at the Goldstream Fish Hatchery.

The past six years brought many challenges as Art lived with the many stages of dementia.
