Arthur George Soberon
September 14, 1976 - December 9, 2025
With deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Arthur George Soberon, age 49, who
went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 9 th , 2025.
Arthur was born on September 14 th , 1976, in Lawrence, Massachusetts, the son of Freddy and
Colleen Soberon.
Arthur was a light to everyone who knew him. He had a servant's heart and a deep love for
helping those in need. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his beloved wife, Elisa, and
with the animals he cherished so dearly—Bella, Bo, Lady, Guizmo, and Massey.
Arthur's life was marked by love, compassion, and an unwavering faith in God. In service to
others, Arthur and his wife, Elisa, sold items from their storage units to raise money in support of
the sober community—an act that reflected their shared commitment to faith, recovery, and
helping others in need. His passing has left a profound void in the hearts of his family, friends,
and all who knew him. He will be remembered not for the way his life ended, but for the way he
lived and the lasting impact he had on everyone around him.
Arthur worked for a local flooring company, where he was employed on and off for 30 years.
James Bijeol, Kary Bijeol, Nicholas Bijeol, and Austin Bijeol were an extension of Arthur's life
for the past three decades and held a special place in his heart.
Arthur is survived by his wife, Elisa Soberon; his father, Freddy Soberon; and his siblings:
Natacha Soberon Mercedes, Jennifer Nazzaro, Freddy Soberon, Christina Soberon, and Brian
Soberon. He is also survived by his aunts: Ellena Soberon Ortiz, Sylvie Soberon Tair, and
Monica Soberon Buxton.
He leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews: Christian Soberon, Shane Chunilal,
Iseline Mendoza, Madeline Gomez, Joseph Soberon, Asia Soberon, Madison (Maddie) Soberon,
Jonah Badillo, Jojo Soberon, Benjamin Soberon, and Lucas Soberon, as well as his cousins,
Wanda Ortiz (Luly), Sophee Tair, Jacob Tair, Noah Tair, Rebecca Buxton, and Amelia Buxton.
Arthur is also survived by his children: daughter Bryanna Waugh and Julie Clark; son Gabriel Soberon;
stepdaughter Tabitha Haarlander; stepson Timothy Hudson
Arthur was a proud and loving grandfather to Carter Santana, Sawyer Haarlander, Hudson
Haarlander, Weston Haarlander, Casey Haarlander, Brody Hudson, and Adalynn Hudson.
He also leaves behind his lifelong best friend, Richard Comeau, whom he had known for most of
his life.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 4, 2026, at 2:00 PM at One Church, located at
56 Old Bedford Road, Bedford, NH 03110.
Those who wish to make a memorial contribution in Arthur's honor may do so to Do You Know
Him Ministries (www.doyouknowhim-nh.org), a ministry that was close to Arthur's heart and
deeply shared by both Arthur and his wife, Elisa.
Arthur's Favorite Scriptures
The Parable of the Lost Sheep (Luke 15:3-7)
"So he told them this parable: 'What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he has lost one of
them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the one that is lost, until he
finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing... Just so, I tell you,
there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous
persons who need no repentance.'"
Matthew 7:13-14
"Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and
those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and
those who find it are few."
