Audrey W. (Brekke) Rambler of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida passed away on November 16, 2025. She was born on August 8, 1936 in Webster City, Iowa to Wilma (Brekke) Olson and Arthur Brekke.
Audrey attended Waldorf College and Luther College before beginning her early years as an elementary teacher, homemaker and later working in retail. In 1965 she married Charles E. Rambler Jr. who preceded her in death.
During her many years in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania she attended and was active at Wallace Memorial Presbyterian Church. In 2006 she moved to Ponte Vedra Beach to be closer to family including her grandchildren and to actively enjoy the Florida lifestyle. She treasured her church family at Palms Presbyterian Church where she participated in numerous groups and served as a greeter, a Love Callers ministry volunteer and a member of Presbyterian Women.
She was passionate about staying active through walking, biking, swimming, tennis and golf.
Audrey is survived by her brother Carroll Brekke and his wife Judy. She is also survived by her children Mark Rambler and his wife Wendy, Cheryl Rambler Goveia and her husband Ken, Calvin Rambler, Christian Rambler and his wife Jennifer. Her grandchildren Rachel, Brooke and Cole Rambler were a cherished part of her life. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews along with cousins, aunts and uncles across the Brekke and Rambler families.
She was cared for at Anthem Lakes in Atlantic Beach, Florida in the days before her passing and her family is grateful for the compassion she received there. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in Audrey's honor to Hospice of Florida, Friends of the Ponte Vedra Library or the Brown Family YMCA. A memorial service will be shared by the family at a later time.
