Barbara Helen Erlandson

Barbara Erlandson passed away peacefully at her home in Burney, CA on the morning of March 11, 2026. She was 89 years old.
She is survived by six of her eight children, 15 grandchildren, numerous great-grandkids, one of her beloved brothers and a sister. Plus numerous nieces and nephews.
Barbara lived in a handful of places such as Bloomfield, Calistoga, Healdsburg, Bates City, MO and lastly Burney. She worked in the office of Dr. Nicholas Grace in Healdsburg from the mid 1970s until the late 1990s.
Barbara had many fine qualities that made her a special person who was very easy to love. She was fun loving with a great sense of humor. She had an outgoing, warm, friendly personality with a quick, sweet smile and a twinkle in her eye. Barbara had the gift of hospitality and shared her home many times when others needed her. She was a very talented and creative cook and baker who used those talents to cater many weddings in the Sonoma County area. Even at the age of 87, Barbara was still putting those talents to good use when she made a delicious Scandinavian Kransekake for a family member's wedding. She was such a hard working woman. She loved gardening and canning, then enjoyed sharing her bounty with others. Barbara was a very generous and happy soul.
There will be a small, private gathering of family members at a local beach to say our goodbyes as we send her off into her beloved ocean.
